About Your RoleYou will work in an IBM z/OS environment, ensuring system reliability, performance, and compliance in a fast‑paced, SLA‑driven production environment.
What You’ll Do- Modify, test, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL (DB2), and CICS.
- Review application designs and source code to assist with testing, debugging, and production readiness.
- Code and test high‑priority and critical changes in support of business and operational requirements.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications to maintain stability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and defect correction.
- Collaborate with remote and cross‑functional team members to deliver reliable application support.
- Provide regular project and task status updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain technical and operational documentation to support ongoing application maintenance.

- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Hands‑on experience in an IBM Mainframe (z/OS) environment.
- Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
- Experience deploying fixes in SLA‑driven production environments.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience creating technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- DB2 utilities, IDCAMS, Sync Sort, File‑Master, CICS.
- FTP / NDM file transmission.
- REXX, Endevor, Clarity, Jira.
- Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint.
- On‑call rotational support.
- Use of computer and audio equipment required.
- Per contractual obligations, must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain and maintain an extended background check.
$97,500.00 – $
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York; pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
