You will work in an IBM z/OS environment, ensuring system reliability, performance, and compliance in a fast‑paced, SLA‑driven production environment.

• Modify, test, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL (DB2), and CICS.
• Review application designs and source code to assist with testing, debugging, and production readiness.
• Code and test high‑priority and critical changes in support of business and operational requirements.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications to maintain stability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and defect correction.
• Collaborate with remote and cross‑functional team members to deliver reliable application support.
• Provide regular project and task status updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical and operational documentation to support ongoing application maintenance.

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience in an IBM Mainframe (z/OS) environment.
• Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Experience deploying fixes in SLA‑driven production environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience creating technical documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

• DB2 utilities, IDCAMS, Sync Sort, File‑Master, CICS.
• FTP / NDM file transmission.
• REXX, Endevor, Clarity, Jira.
• Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint.

• On‑call rotational support.
• Use of computer and audio equipment required.
• Per contractual obligations, must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain and maintain an extended background check.

$97,500.00 – $

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York; pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
