Programmer Analyst III

Our client, a leading organization in the e-commerce and platform engineering sector, is seeking a Programmer Analyst III to join their team. As a Programmer Analyst III, you will be part of the Platform Reliability team supporting critical operations and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design and implement automated order replay mechanisms to resolve synchronization issues within the Fluent Commerce ecosystem.
• Build advanced telemetry dashboards to monitor API performance, latency, and webhook success rates, enhancing system observability.
• Develop custom utilities using SDKs and REST APIs to facilitate bulk updates and system cleanups, improving operational efficiency.
• Act as the technical escalation point for troubleshooting complex issues involving Java extensions and GraphQL mutations.
• Lead root cause analysis and performance tuning efforts to optimize platform stability and responsiveness.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in OMS technical operations or platform engineering, especially in high-volume SaaS environments.
• Proficiency in Java, including debugging and performance analysis of custom extensions.
• Expertise in GraphQL query and mutation design, with experience in complex data manipulation.
• Strong understanding of RESTful architectures, JSON schemas, and event-driven patterns such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.
