OMS Platform Reliability Lead

Our client is seeking an OMS Platform Reliability Lead to join their team. As an OMS Platform Reliability Lead, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Platform Engineering and Support Teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Lead the health, stability, and automated evolution of the Order Management System (OMS) ecosystem.

+ Design and implement automation solutions for order replays, data deduplication, and predictive alerting to transition from manual to self-healing operations.

+ Build advanced telemetry dashboards to monitor system performance and identify potential issues proactively.

+ Act as the technical escalation point for incidents requiring deep analysis of Java extensions and GraphQL mutations.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure platform upgrades and operational requirements are integrated into development roadmaps.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

+ 5+ years of experience in OMS technical operations or platform engineering, especially in high-volume, event-driven SaaS environments.

+ Expertise in Fluent Commerce platform, including Webhooks, Essential Rules, and GraphQL API.

+ Proficiency in Java, debugging, and performance tuning of custom extensions.

+ Strong understanding of RESTful architectures, JSON schemas, and event-driven patterns such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.
