Provides clerical support, unputting data, answering telephones, filing, distributing mail, and assisting patients, relatives, and visitors.
Job Description:
EDUCATION
* Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
* HS Diploma or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. or equivalent education/experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
* Able to input data into computer with speed and accuracy.
* Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a stressful environment.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanc e instructions , and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Ability to present information to patients, patient families and employees of organization.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay Range is $33.28 to $39.75 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
