Senior Manager, Global Supply Management

Role Description

Form Energy is hiring a visionary leader to manage a team of Global Supply Managers and oversee the strategic direction of key commodity categories. This role reports into the Director of Global Supply Management and drives high‑level sourcing strategies for our breakthrough iron‑air battery technology while mentoring and scaling the supply chain as we expand production.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Global Supply Managers, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end sourcing strategy for a broad portfolio of commodities, ensuring alignment with Form’s long‑term product roadmap and manufacturing scale‑up.
• Design and implement a robust supplier risk management framework, identifying second‑source opportunities and geopolitical risks to ensure 100% supply continuity.
• Lead high‑stakes negotiations for multi‑million dollar master service agreements (MSAs) and long‑term supply agreements, optimizing for total cost of ownership, quality, and risk.
• Act as a key liaison between GSM, Engineering, Finance, and Quality leadership to ensure seamless integration of supply chain strategy into the product development process.
• Drive the implementation of scalable GSM tools and processes (QBRs, supplier scorecards, and cost‑modeling templates) to improve departmental efficiency.

• Deep Leadership
  
  Experience:
  
  3+ years directly managing or leading supply chain/procurement professionals in a high‑growth hardware or energy environment.
• Strategic Sourcing Expertise: 7+ years total experience in strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of managing complex global supply chains and multi‑tiered supplier relationships.
• Technical Category Depth:
  Deep expertise managing a diverse portfolio of complex commodities, including custom mechanical assemblies, plastic injection moldings, and electro‑mechanical systems (PCBAs, power electronics, energy conversion hardware).
• Communication:
  Exceptional executive presence and ability to distill complex supply chain risks and strategies into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Advanced Negotiation
  
  Skills:
  
  Expert‑level understanding of commercial law and complex contract structures; proven track record of securing favorable terms for multi‑million dollar global supply agreements.
• Change Management and Tactical Execution:
  Expert at building scalable inter‑departmental change management processes and leading teams through decision‑making in dynamic, fluid situations.
• Technical Cost Modeling:
  Deep expertise in advanced cost‑modeling (Clean Sheet, Should‑Cost analysis) and logistics optimization to drive best‑in‑class pricing and continual cost reductions.

Compensation Range: $170,246 - $212,813
