IEOR is a department within the College of Engineering where researchers investigate the latest mathematical tools, approaches, and methodologies to make new theoretical discoveries and innovations that touch nearly every industry, making them more efficient and profitable in areas such as supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, data science, energy systems, robotics, and management. The University of California, Berkeley Master of Analytics degree trains students to build cutting-edge data and quantitative skills preparing them for exciting roles in the industry.
There is a very high demand for analytics professionals who have the ability to analyze large amounts of data and offer solutions critical for success. These skills are needed in every sector of the economy, including commerce, healthcare, information technology, entertainment, finance, energy, security, transportation, consulting, and many more.
This position is designed to provide comprehensive administrative, facilities, HR, operational, financial, and instructional management support to the Master of Analytics Program - Career Services Team. The Programs Coordinator & Operations Specialist plays a critical role in the successful day-to-day operations of the office by providing a high level of administrative support to the Career Services Team and IEOR Unit. The position requires balancing multiple, often simultaneous, activities and prioritizing work to ensure that tasks are completed on time.
The position requires a high level of student services knowledge, professionalism, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to support and work in a dynamic environment, and a high degree of personal ownership to ensure quality work products are delivered and support activities are performed in an organized manner.

- Co-develop/create/manage Master Analytics Program alumni and current student surveys, including supporting outreach plans, approaches, trends, sources and uses.
- Co-lead in the creation of student information systems to utilize data-driven strategies and best practices to inform student success strategies and address matters related to student retention, program marketing and admissions.
- Provide Master of Analytics Program with administrative support across career services, student services, marketing, admissions, facilities and overall program planning and execution.
- Support, manage, plan and administer a range of administrative operations across Career Services, Student Services, Events, Course Support, General unit and HR support.
- Assist with Master of Analytics program event planning, execution and set-up related duties, including admissions, orientation, graduation, employer visits, place-based immersions, live virtual events, annual showcases and competitions.
- Co-lead in creating processes to gather student information on student success platforms to maintain case management of students served, including data entry, tracking and reporting and surveys (annual, semi-annual, monthly).
- Support and assist the MAnalytics program Student Services team with OPT requests and letter verification requests; event support such as New Student Orientation, Commencement and Visit Day; info session back-up support; event coordination with student groups.
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Master of Analytics Program, including participation in the development of student support procedures and guidelines; gather, analyze, prepare and summarize reports around career outcomes, financial activity, and HR reports.
