Mozambique or South Africa. Duration: 4 weeks, starting each month.
Cost: $3,900 USD per month. Fee includes all food, accommodation, pre‑departure & in‑country support, orientation and all project related activities.

BenefitsGain knowledge and practical skills to become an underwater photographer and videographer. Includes training in digital workflow, post‑processing, marine wildlife photography, nighttime land photography and creative lighting.
EligibilityIdeal for interns with an interest in getting their feet wet and getting footage under the water. You are not replacing any member of staff, but helping alongside them, while learning new skills.
Responsibilities and Training- Underwater photographic expeditions: 20 expeditions over 4 weeks; 2 pool‑based sessions focused on modeling; 16 field sessions photographing local marine wildlife.
- Cultural photographic expeditions: 2 expeditions – one water/surf focused on modeling at the water’s edge; one on local village life.
- Free‑diving training: 4 underwater free‑diving expeditions – 1 pool, 3 open‑water focusing on breath‑hold techniques and marine wildlife.
- Digital workflow instruction: workshops on Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere specific to underwater photographers.
- Creative projects: learning star‑trails, time‑lapses, land‑based techniques, stock photography and monetisation strategies.
The program runs on weekdays only; weekends offer optional activities and tours or relaxation. The syllabus includes direct tutorship, practical expeditions, free‑diving training, and theoretical plus practical tuition for digital workflow and post‑processing.
