OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drafter / Junior Designer to join our design team. Most of the time we are a residential firm, but we are currently working on a corporate headquarters. Room for growth. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills while collaborating with experienced professionals. You are the kind of person who likes to knock it out of the park, understand the whole project.
You can draw the details, you are proficient in Autocad, hopefully familiar with Archicad, and can build a set in Revit. You can key the details so the construction set makes sense. We may need you onsite, too!
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, to support architectural projects
- Develop accurate 3D models and visualizations utilizing Revit or Archicad to enhance project presentations and client understanding
- Assist in drafting construction documents, interior layouts, and graphic design elements that meet project standards
- Collaborate with senior designers and review design concepts, refine details, and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Contribute to the development of construction drawings.
- B.ARCH or M. ARCH
- Prior experience in drafting, CAD design
- Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD,
- Knowledge of construction processes, interior design principles, mechanical systems, or graphic design
- Strong attention to detail combined with effective communication skills
Very small office in Berkeley, come in to the office at least one day per week.
