Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking an OB hospitalist physician to join a collaborative team providing compassionate and evidence-based care to high-risk and community clinic patients. Clinicians will practice within Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, an established regional referral hub for obstetrics. Flexible full-time and part-time FTE options ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 are available.
Practice Info
- Part of Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, the East Bay's largest private nonprofit medical center
- Hospital delivers approximately 5,000 babies annually and serves as a referral center for high-risk obstetrics
- Facility features 24 LDRP rooms, 3 ORs on labor and delivery, and an 8-bed OB Triage
- Includes a 14-bed Antepartum Unit with affiliated MFM co-management and a 55-bed Level III NICU with in-house neonatologists
- Features advanced practice nurses specialized in newborn evaluation, two in-house OB anesthesiologists, a full electronic medical record system, and remote fetal heart rate monitoring
- Level III NICU, Interventional Radiology, Perinatology, and Neonatology available 24/7
Responsibilities
- Delivery attendance
- OB triage
- Patient evaluation and management
- Surgical and OB delivery assists
- Fetal monitoring
- ED coverage for OB patients
Compensation
- Competitive compensation with income guarantee
- $186.22 - $205.78 /Hr base compensation for full time (1.0 FTE) clinicians

Requirements
- An active and unrestricted CA license
- Current DEA license
