Berkeley Law is generating an applicant pool of qualified instructors should openings arise.
Instructors are appointed as Lecturers for lecture courses and Field Work Supervisors for experiential center courses. Selected applicants will prepare course materials such as syllabi and maintain a course website. They will hold office hours, assess and review student work, assign grades, and advise students.
UC Lecturers and Field Work Supervisors are organized bargaining unit members and are exclusively represented by the American Federation of Teachers – Unit 18.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
