The Temporary Part-Time Art Teacher at Saint Mary’s College High School is a mission-driven educator who will provide visual arts instruction from February 1 through June 15, 2027, during a faculty leave of absence.
The position carries a 2/10ths teaching assignment. During the remainder of the winter term, beginning February 1, the teacher will teach two sections of AP Art. During the spring term, the teacher will teach two visual arts sections:
Intermediate Visual Arts and Advanced Visual Arts.
The teacher will provide continuity of instruction and foster creativity, artistic skill development, critical thinking, and visual analysis within a student-centered classroom environment grounded in instructional excellence and student learning.
Reporting to the Dean of Academics and working closely with the Director of Teaching & Learning, department chair, and colleagues, the teacher supports high academic standards and contributes to a strong, mission-aligned academic program.

Compensation$60,000–$110,000 annual salary range, prorated based on the 2/10ths teaching assignment and period of employment
