Senior Design Engineer – Electronic Systems

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent
• Level 4: 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors or 7+ years with a Masters or 3+ years with a PhD
• Experience in Mechanical or Electrical Design
• Familiarity with Aerospace Industry is preferred
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Experience in design/build or testing teams
• Knowledge of engineering processes
• Background in electronic/electrical system designs or testing based on requirements
• Proficient in data structures, system design, and architecture

Responsibilities:

• Comprehend and implement job, principles, and theories
• Create, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements per customer and contract standards
• Formulate statements of work and technical performance specifics
• Analyze and transform customer specifications into system architecture, hardware, and software designs, ensuring traceability throughout the lifecycle
• Conduct tests and validation to confirm system designs meet operational and functional expectations
• Address product integration challenges and production discrepancies
• Explore new technologies to propose concepts for future product designs and internal strategies
• Observe supplier performance for system integrity and adherence to requirements
• Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
• Design hardware, software, and interface specifications
• Tackle issues related to fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle
