Requirements
Must have- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent
- Level 4: 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors or 7+ years with a Masters or 3+ years with a PhD
- Experience in Mechanical or Electrical Design
- Familiarity with Aerospace Industry is preferred
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Experience in design/build or testing teams
- Knowledge of engineering processes
- Background in electronic/electrical system designs or testing based on requirements
- Proficient in data structures, system design, and architecture
Responsibilities:
- Comprehend and implement job, principles, and theories
- Create, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements per customer and contract standards
- Formulate statements of work and technical performance specifics
- Analyze and transform customer specifications into system architecture, hardware, and software designs, ensuring traceability throughout the lifecycle
- Conduct tests and validation to confirm system designs meet operational and functional expectations
- Address product integration challenges and production discrepancies
- Explore new technologies to propose concepts for future product designs and internal strategies
- Observe supplier performance for system integrity and adherence to requirements
- Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
- Design hardware, software, and interface specifications
- Tackle issues related to fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle
