GEO is seeking a full-time Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Berkeley, California team. Certerra A3

Duties:

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Certerra A3

GEO, your primary responsibility will be to utilize the breadth of your project management experience, technical expertise, and communication skills to successfully complete geotechnical projects in ways that satisfy clients and minimize risks. In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Manage and execute multiple complex design projects simultaneously.
  • Perform and direct engineering analyses including but not limited to settlement, seepage, slope stability, lateral load resistance, deep foundation analyses, soil-structure interaction, seismic deformation, and site-specific seismic response.
  • Develop geotechnical design-level recommendations independently.
  • Write, sign, and stamp geotechnical reports, letters, and proposals.
  • Serve as Geotechnical-Engineer-of-Record on design projects.
  • Oversee and manage staff and project-level professionals throughout project execution.
  • Represent A3

    GEO at team and client meetings.
Education/

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Master of Science (MS) in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication
  • At least 10 years of relevant geotechnical experience
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record

Compensation is dependent on experience, certifications and state Licensures a candidate has active.
