Senior Electronic Systems Design and Test Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
• Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri region.
• Experience in the Aerospace Industry is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Background in design/build or test teams is desirable.
• Experience in creating, developing, or maintaining engineering processes.
• Knowledge of electronic and electrical system designs or tests based on specifications is beneficial.
• Expertise in data structures, system design, and architecture is highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and implement job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts.
• Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements aligned with customer expectations and contractual obligations.
• Create statements of work and technical performance specifications.
• Analyze, translate, and implement customer requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs, ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct testing and validation to confirm system designs meet operational and functional specifications.
• Address product integration challenges and production discrepancies.
• Research emerging technologies to conceptualize future product designs that fulfill anticipated requirements and may support internal business initiatives.
• Oversee supplier performance to ensure system integrity and adherence to requirements.
• Document moderately complex electronic and electrical system specifications.
• Design hardware, software, and interface specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues related to fielded hardware and software across the entire product lifecycle.
