Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineeringMinimum of 2 years of relevant experienceCreo Parametric experienceAccelerator or Beamline experienceExperience working in a National Lab environment is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsFEA experienceMust be willing to work full time on-site in Berkeley, CAThe salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants' qualifications, education, experience, and work location.

Responsibilities
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.Builds productive internal/external relationships.Contributes to new concepts, projects, and upgrades.Develops and refines test and operational procedures to meet physics and engineering needs.Evaluates designs for performance and reliability.Actively participates in design reviews to ensure project success.Designs and develops accelerator components (e.g., RF systems, beam instrumentation, control systems).Implements innovative solutions to meet operational needs and integrates complex systems.Follows safety protocols and promotes a culture of safety awareness.Assists in maintaining inventory of critical components and equipment for ongoing and future projects.#J-18808-Ljbffr
