Hill International is seeking a Jr. Engineer in Berkeley, CA. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Creo Parametric experience
  • Accelerator or Beamline experience
  • Experience working in a National Lab environment is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • FEA experience
  • Must be willing to work full time on-site in Berkeley, CA
  • The salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants' qualifications, education, experience, and work location.

    Responsibilities
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.
  • Builds productive internal/external relationships.
  • Contributes to new concepts, projects, and upgrades.
  • Develops and refines test and operational procedures to meet physics and engineering needs.
  • Evaluates designs for performance and reliability.
  • Actively participates in design reviews to ensure project success.
  • Designs and develops accelerator components (e.g., RF systems, beam instrumentation, control systems).
  • Implements innovative solutions to meet operational needs and integrates complex systems.
  • Follows safety protocols and promotes a culture of safety awareness.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory of critical components and equipment for ongoing and future projects.
