Tech Lead Manager, Securities Engineering

As a Tech Lead Manager (TLM), you will be responsible for the technical and managerial oversight of your team. We believe the best Engineering leaders are deeply technical, and look for colleagues who are able to engage deeply on a technical level, developing their team in the process. You will also serve as a Product Owner, the key person for your domain of expertise.

You will work closely with Engineering leadership and counterparts in Research to develop your team's roadmap, vision, and execute against it.

• Effectively manage a team of engineers
• Attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent

• Work closely with stakeholder team to develop a roadmap and future vision for your team
• Mentor and grow individual contributors to continuously up-level your team
• Capture business logic to ensure reliable delivery of our core trading products
• Scale and operationalize our execution and production trading systems
• Collaborate with our operations team to oversee systems and capture data for compliance

• Computer Science Degree, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of people management experience
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Demonstrated history of management of engineering team and senior engineers
• Proven ability to hire and manage exceptional engineers
• Expertise in a modern programming language, such as Python, Go, R, and/or C/C++
• Experience operating critical production systems with high‑uptime requirements
• Knowledge of best practices for robust, high‑availability design
• Ability to understand key details to provide provably correct systems

The base salary range for this position is $225,000 to $310,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
