Lead Design and Analysis Engineer (Electronic Sys Design & Analy) — Mission Systems Test Engineer (Level
5) supporting a Phantom Works Fixed Wing Proprietary Program in St. Louis, MO.
The successful candidate will implement and automate the Mission Systems test plan, perform verification/validation activities, and develop test infrastructure to support advanced mission system capabilities.
Key responsibilities include integrating hardware and software components, performing integration testing, creating automated test tools and scripts, and working in a lab environment.
Position Responsibilities- Implement test infrastructure to maximize automation using the latest digital tools.
- Perform verification/validation tests integrating multiple hardware and software components.
- Support testing efforts of component and subsystem groups.
- Execute Mission Systems integration testing.
- Create and update automated test tools and scripts.
- Perform validation of interfaces between Mission Systems hardware and software in a lab environment.
- Define necessary lab infrastructure updates to support test.
- Research technology advances for potential application to company needs.
- Document hardware or software anomalies and report test metrics.
- Continuously assess and improve engineering processes.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
- Level 5: 14+ years of work‑related experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR 12+ years with a master’s degree.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance post‑start.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Master’s degree or higher.
- Experience supporting a proprietary program.
- Experience executing in an Agile environment and implementing Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Cameo or similar Model Based Systems Engineering tools.
- Experience with modern software development methodologies (Dev Sec Ops and CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience with Mission Systems Open Architecture Standards.
- Experience across multiple phases of the product life‑cycle.
- Top Secret clearance preferred.
