Drive Works Design Automation Engineer
Location:
Focal Point, CA
Experience:
5-8 years
Shift Timing: 8AM - 5PM
We are looking for a Drive Works Design Automation Engineer to develop and optimize automated design workflows using Drive Works Professional within Solid Works. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in Drive Works automation, working on rule-based design automation, configurator development, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Drive Works automation solutions for engineering design processes.
- Configure Drive Works rules, logic, and workflows to automate design variations.
- Create intelligent configurators for product customization and parametric modeling.
- Integrate Drive Works with Solid Works to streamline design automation.
- Optimize Drive Works templates efficiency and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Drive Works-related issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance automation capabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest Drive Works features and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Drive Works automation.
- Expertise in Drive Works Professional (Drive Works Solo & Drive Works Pro).
- Proficiency in Solid Works and parametric modeling.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages (VBA, Python, or similar).
- Experience with PLM systems and design optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Experience in Drive Works API development.
- Knowledge of cloud‑based Drive Works automation.
- Familiarity with industry‑specific automation standards.
