The City of Berkeley invites you to apply for the position of Senior Forestry Supervisor in the Parks, Recreation and Waterfront Department. In this role, you will direct the City’s forestry program, overseeing program operations and personnel, and manage citywide tree planting, pruning, shaping, and removal.

Equivalent to completion of high school and five (5) years of increasingly responsible journey-level experience, including two (2) years at the supervisory level equivalent to the City’s Forestry Climber Supervisor classification.

• Possession of a valid class "B" California driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Demonstrated expertise in urban forestry and the ability to work with a team.
