Job Details:

• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week

• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio during days, nights, and weekends

• Every other weekend requirement and additional weekends as needed

• On-call availability as needed

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Must have 3+ years of RN ICU experience

• Travel experience required with minimum 1 year of traveling experience

• Must be comfortable and proficient with neuro patients

• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS

• Epic charting system experience required

• May float to other units within scope of practice and to different campuses

• Must be flexible with floating assignments with 1.5 hours notice before shift start

• Shuttle transportation provided for floating assignments

• Care for adults and geriatric patients in 30-bed unit with daily census of 12

• Must be proficient in specialized skills including neuro intensive care, surgical intensive care, Flo Trac/Vigileo monitoring, pulmonary artery line monitoring, CVVHD/CRRT, and ventilator management

• Handle complex cases including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, post-craniotomy care, and multisystem organ dysfunction
