About the Role

Physical Therapists are responsible for supporting patient care and clinic success by:

  • Synthesizing pertinent information from a patient’s referral, medical records, imaging, intake forms, and subjective history taking.
  • Diagnosing movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, objective measurements, and listening to patients’ concerns and goals.
  • Using critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care that include patients’ goals and expected outcomes.
  • Utilizing evidence‑based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re‑education, biofeedback, and other modalities to achieve patients' goals.
  • Evaluating and documenting patient progress, using outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed.
  • Educating patients about the recovery process and how to cope with challenges throughout.
  • Following up with patients to ensure better adherence to the plan of care.
  • Connecting with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of therapies provided by the clinic and ensure that as many patients as possible receive care.
  • Providing clinical instruction for at least one student rotation per year after the first year of treatment in your specialty area.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
