QC Virology Lab Analyst

Job Summary

Our client a leading, Healthcare & Life Sciences provider is seeking a QC Virology Lab Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Berkeley, California.

• Support day-to-day operations in QC virology laboratories
• Conduct mycoplasma testing and various virology assays
• Ensure all testing activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory environment
• Learn new techniques and achieve proficiency in required methods
• Support method verifications for clinical and commercial products

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field
• 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience (preferably in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP environments)
• Experience with mycoplasma testing, cell culture techniques, and PCR
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
• Microsoft Office Suite experience

• Strong computer skills
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to follow written procedures

• Pay Range:
  The approximate pay range for this position is between $26.00 and $32.00
