Microbiologist

This client is a German multinational Pharmaceutical and biotechnology company and one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, headquartered in Leverkusen, and areas of business include pharmaceuticals; consumer healthcare products, agricultural chemicals, seeds and biotechnology products.

We are seeking a QC Microbiology Lab Analyst to perform microbiology assays supporting GMP, clinical, and development product release. This role involves supporting QC Micro Assay testing for GMP, clinical, and development product release activities.

• Support day-to-day operations in QC microbiology laboratories.
• Conduct microbiological tests on in-process samples, including growth promotion testing.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laboratory environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn new skills and achieve proficiency.
• Support method verifications for clinical and commercial products.

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field.
• 1–2 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry and/or in a GMP environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to support and prioritize multiple diverse activities simultaneously while meeting schedule commitments.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to follow written procedures
