Room Attendant

What You Will Do

As the “Heart of the House,” you will ensure the cleanliness, comfort, and safety of guest rooms and public spaces, creating a memorable experience for each guest.

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
• Work as a team to achieve hotel cleanliness objectives.
• Maintain an organized and properly stocked work cart.
• Use equipment and supplies efficiently while preserving guest amenities.
• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of assigned guest areas.
• Change linens and towels daily and inspect them for quality.
• Follow the Green Program standards and daily check‑ins.
• Practice safety standards and report hazards such as broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons.
• Respect guests’ property and handle it with care.
• Maintain accurate time records and adhere to the posted schedule.
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and coworkers at all times.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Floor Supervisor.

• Housekeeping experience desirable.
• Neat, pleasant personality.
• Strong time‑management skills.
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
• Physical ability to move, traverse, and position yourself to reach corners on floors and high places; detect odors and navigate tight spaces carrying carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Operation of equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
• Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.

$20 – $21 per hour.
