What We Look For...
We are looking for a Front Desk Agent who is passionate about hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding service while serving as an ambassador for the hotel.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest service through front desk, bell, and concierge functions, including guest check-in and check-out, luggage assistance, restaurant and tour recommendations, and local area information.
- Create memorable guest experiences by building authentic connections and anticipating guest needs.
- Accurately process guest arrivals, departures, room assignments, payments, and guest requests using hotel property management and cashiering systems.
- Post guest charges and payments to guest, banquet, master, and house accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurate and properly documented.
- Demonstrate established service standards when greeting guests, checking them in and out, coordinating transportation requests, and assisting with hotel and local area information.
- Promote hotel amenities, services, and special offerings while encouraging future stays.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of room types, rates, hotel facilities, services, and daily hotel activities.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Respond to guest concerns and service issues professionally, resolving problems with sound judgment and a guest-focused approach.
- Ensure guest records are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Remain alert to the safety and security of guests, team members, and hotel property, reporting unsafe conditions or concerns to management immediately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
The Model Qualifications:
- Previous front desk, reservations, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel systems.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong team-player mentality.
