Remote Junior Recruiter / Recruiting Coordinator
KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Remote Junior Recruiter / Recruiting Coordinator who is based in either California or Colorado only.
A rapidly growing national healthcare organization is seeking a Junior Recruiter / Recruiting Coordinator to support high-volume hiring across multiple locations nationwide. This role is ideal for someone beginning a career in recruiting or talent acquisition who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Junior Recruiter will support the recruiting team by posting job openings, reviewing applications, conducting initial candidate screenings, and referring qualified candidates to hiring managers and senior recruiters.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a rapidly scaling healthcare organization while learning recruiting best practices and supporting a growing talent acquisition team.
- Post and maintain job advertisements across job boards and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Review incoming applications and resumes to ensure candidates meet minimum qualifications.
- Conduct initial phone screens using established screening questions to assess qualifications, work history, availability, and compensation expectations.
- Refer qualified candidates to hiring managers or senior recruiters for further evaluation.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the ATS.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide timely follow-up to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist with recruiting projects and hiring initiatives.
- Help ensure job postings remain current and accurate.
- Support onboarding coordination and new hire documentation as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information.
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate workflow.
- Learn and utilize recruiting technologies and AI-driven sourcing tools.
- Assist with data entry, recruiting reports, and recruiting process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- 1–2 years of recruiting, recruiting coordination, human resources, customer service, staffing, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable conducting phone screenings and interacting with candidates.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.
- Must be based in CA or CO only.
