Layout Designer

Responsibilities

• Own component placement optimization and full PCB layout in Altium.
• Execute layout for power, control, and communication circuits.
• Route high-speed and power-sensitive signals following best practices.
• Handle Ethernet routing (10
  
  Mbps single-pair Ethernet / 10
  
  BASE-T1L).
• Perform LGA/BGA fanout and dense component routing.
• Ensure power integrity across 48V input, buck converters, and LDO rails.

• Apply UL and functional safety standards.
• Ensure proper creepage and clearance for high-voltage spacing.
• Prepare design for manufacturability and fab release.

• 5+ years of relevant PCB layout experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Altium.
• Power electronics and control board layout experience.
• Experience with high speeds (10
  
  Gb) and high voltage.
• High-speed signal routing experience (Ethernet, CAN, SPI, etc.).
• Experience with LGA/BGA packages and dense layouts.
• Ability to work independently and hit tight schedules.

• Battery systems or energy storage hardware experience.
• Familiarity with “functional safety” in battery environments.
• Cadence / Allegro background.
• Exposure to hardware security considerations.
