We’re hiring a senior engineering leader to build and scale a Forward Deployed Agent Engineering function focused on delivering production-grade AI agent systems into complex enterprise environments.

This role owns the end-to-end delivery engine — turning ambiguous customer workflows into reliable, repeatable deployments while driving platform leverage with every engagement.

• Delivery outcomes across multiple customer-facing pods
• Reliability, eval quality, safety standards, and timeline predictability
• The operating system: intake, scoping, deployment gates, rollout criteria, and post-launch validation
• Converting field learnings into reusable platform primitives
• Hiring and developing pod leads and senior engineers

• Lead multiple forward deployed teams shipping agent workflows end-to-end
• Establish quality bars for agent systems (eval coverage, observability, safety, reliability)
• Build planning cadence and execution discipline across pods
• Partner with Product to turn recurring customer patterns into roadmap priorities
• Stay hands-on where it matters — reviewing designs, debugging critical issues, setting the technical bar

• 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ in engineering leadership
• Experience scaling customer-facing or forward deployed engineering teams
• Strong distributed systems and production debugging instincts
• Deep familiarity with AI agent systems, orchestration, evals, tool calling, and safety patterns
• Ability to translate ambiguity into structured delivery and predictable execution
