The People & Organization Development (POD) team is part of Berkeley People & Culture. Our goal is to help individuals, groups, teams, leaders, and in general, our campus, grow. We do this in many ways, over many modalities, meeting people where they are and giving them the support and tools that they need to grow at UC Berkeley.
Position SummaryThis role is responsible for management of our campus Learning Management System and team, tracking and meeting goals for campus compliance training, leadership and continuing improvement of our staff performance program (Achieve Together), and organization consulting in areas such as (but not limited to) strategic planning, succession planning and cultural climate initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesPerforms the most complex and advanced analysis techniques, understands past performance and determines present and future performance and / or resource allocations.
- Act as an internal support consultant for P&C and campus as needed for programs (foundational skills development, Achieve Together, Grow Your Impact consulting, Campus Climate Core Team, etc.) that fall within the scope of this portfolio
- Exercises wide judgment in selecting and developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining appropriate results and resolution of organizational effectiveness issues.
- Oversight and management of Achieve Together, including collaboratively collecting and sharing necessary campus data with the Total Rewards team when the merit program is available
- Oversight of mandatory leadership training (Grow Today) completion, including collaboratively collecting and sharing necessary campus data with the Total Rewards team to ensure all required staff have completed the training in order to receive merit
- Provide support to campus in the scoping, selecting and adoption of tools related to foundational skills development initiatives (including but not limited to): AT Form, FWA forms, Merit Roster Updates as needed (partnership with Total Rewards), Other Docu Sign forms that fall within the scope of this portfolio
- Day‑to‑day management and support of the People & Culture LMS team
- Acts as a coach for the Korn Ferry 360, Focused 90 and other strategic advising and coaching programs and collaborations
- Act as the Liaison between the UCB campus and OP’s LMS / Compliance teams
- Work with OP to ensure campus needs are being met with systemwide initiatives in the area of foundational skills development (compliance training): SV/SH Prevention, Cyber, Ethics, etc.
