Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a travel contract in California, requiring a valid CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.

Job Details

• NICU setting within an acute care hospital environment,

• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00-19:30),

• Every other weekend required,

• No on-call responsibilities,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,

• Current BLS and NRP certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive neonatal patient assessment, individualized care planning, medication and treatment administration, and family education and discharge planning,

• Serves as a liaison between nursing and medical staff to facilitate a collaborative approach to patient care,

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,

• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract,

• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
