** Who We're Looking For:
** We are currently looking to hire either
*** full-time or part-time**
* ** Veterinary Assistants
** to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

* ** The hourly pay range for this position starts $22.00 - $28.00, this varies depending on experience, education, certifications, and location.**
* ** Additional $250.00 sign-on bonus!**

* *** Who You Are:**
* ** 3+ years clinical experience as a veterinary assistant or receptionist
*** Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
* Passion for working with animals and their owners
* Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
* Understand the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
* Obtain accurate and thorough medical histories
* Perform basic exam procedures
* Skilled in venipuncture (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
* Able to perform digital radiology (X-ray) including positioning
* Comfortable with monitoring general anesthesia and surgical assistance preferred
* Laboratory skills including microscope (ear and fecal cytology); IDEXX in-house laboratory
* Excellent client communication/education
* Adaptable to working well with current doctors and team members
