This tech role supports flight test operations by maintaining, modernizing, troubleshooting, repairing/fabricating, and removing/replacing equipment and systems to keep testing interruptions to a minimum. The selected tech will also play a key role during testing to support engineering real‑time during the tests. The job includes working on aircraft systems on the ground and in a lab as well as the potential to fly on the test bed aircraft.

The successful candidate will need to be self‑motivated when working in a dynamic team environment. This position requires the candidate to become a non‑flight crew member of an experimental aircraft which requires a medical evaluation by Boeing Medical.

• Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, and components
• Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of harnesses, components, test fixtures and test systems
• Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre‑test setup, integration, checkout, and post‑test tear‑down
• Assists the team in ensuring that the test equipment is functional and properly configured for the scheduled test activities
• Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements
• Supports occasional Saturday and extended shift as necessary to complete the mission
• Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic test‑related problems
• Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results
