Prellis Biologics uses proprietary technology to 3D print lymph node organoids, which we are using to generate in vitro antibody libraries and in vitro human lymph node cocultures for generating antigen‑specific B‑cells. We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate - Senior Research Associate, Cell Culture/Cell Line Development
, to join our Antibody Screening team. The successful candidate will contribute to the maintenance, scale‑up, and development of mammalian cell lines for biologics discovery. This role will involve hands‑on laboratory work, data analysis, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Perform mammalian cell culture under sterile conditions of multiple cell lines simultaneously (e.g., CHO, HEK
293, etc.) - Support routine maintenance, passaging, expansion, and cryopreservation of cell lines to ensure a reliable supply of high‑quality cells for downstream applications.
- Support cell line development workflows, including transfection, clone screening, and selection.
- Maintain meticulous experimental records and effectively communicate findings in internal meetings.
- Contribute to process optimization for improved productivity and product quality.
- B.S in Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Immunology, Biotechnology, or related life science field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- 1–2 years of hands‑on laboratory experience in mammalian cell culture is required (industry setting preferred). Demonstrated proficiency with aseptic technique.
- Familiarity with cell line development techniques (stable and transient transfection, clone selection, characterization, etc.).
- Strong organizational and time management skills to contribute to multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience with small‑scale bioreactor systems is a strong plus.
