Job Summary:The Field Sales Engineer is responsible for managing and growing sales within a defined territory by acting as a strategic partner to customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders. This role serves as a primary point of contact for technical sales of Dodge products and solutions, driving volume growth and capturing new business opportunities through field engagement and relationship development
.This role requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and customer focus to identify and convert opportunities, support channel partners, and build long-term relationships in the power transmission industry
Key Responsibilitie s:Sales Strategy & Grow
- th Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company objective
- s.Identify new business opportunities and support conversions to Dodge products through plant surveys and customer interactio
- n.Achieve year-over-year sales growth by increasing volume and expanding into new account
- nt Build strong relationships with distributor partners and end user
- s.Conduct regular branch and customer site visits to maintain visibility and support local sales effort
- s.Serve as a trusted advisor and technical resource to customer
- on Provide product recommendations and interchange solutions based on plant surveys and application analysi
- s.Collaborate with product marketing, engineering, and inside sales teams to support customer need
- s.Communicate product advantages and ensure customer satisfaction through consultative sellin
- ntWork closely with the Regional Sales Manager and other Sales Engineers to share best practices and align effort
- s.Develop and execute joint business plans with key distributor and customer contact
- s.Engage with cross-functional teams to leverage resources and close strategic opportunitie
- on Submit accurate sales reports and expense documentation in a timely manne
- r.Use Salesforce, Power BI, and other tools to track performance, forecast opportunities, and analyze sales trend

Bachelor's degree (technical field preferred) or equivalent relevant experien - ce.2-3 years of experience in the power transmission or industrial equipment indust
- ry.1-2 years of Dodge product knowledge preferr
- ed.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skil - ls.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioriti - es.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervisi - on.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools (Salesforce preferre

Ability to walk long distances in industrial environments, including extreme heat, dust, heights, and confined spa - ces.
Comfortable with climbing structures, walking catwalks, and accessing tight ar - eas.
Ability to lift and pull up to 50 - lbs.
Must be able to drive for extended peri - ods.
Ability to travel frequently within the territ - ory.
