LEE is a nonpartisan network of leaders at all stages of life and career. We provide 1:1 coaching, meaningful member-to-member connections, and skill-building opportunities to support and inspire members to increase access and opportunity in their communities ( wearelee.org ).

The Member Engagement team drives high-quality, high-impact experiences that support the growth and civic leadership of LEE members. This includes new member onboarding, virtual and in-person events, and customized programming aligned with member interests and needs.

The California-based Director, Member Engagement Facilitation (Temporary) will support this work by facilitating direct engagement with members through events, consultative planning with partners, and post-event analysis. This includes participating in intake and co-planning conversations, leading in-person and virtual events, connecting members to LEE’s resources and coaching opportunities, and capturing member engagement data.

This is a highly adaptive role that supports the delivery of member programming across different formats and member segments based on organizational needs. Facilitators are expected to prepare effectively using LEE-provided materials, collaborate with staff partners to ensure high-quality experiences, and record data and learning reflections in a timely manner. Facilitators are also expected to bring their local context of Northern California and/or Southern California to the role in order to further the impact of LEE member programming in these areas.

This is a part-time, temporary position with variable hours. Expect to work approximately 12-15 hours for each assigned event, including preparation, facilitation, and wrap-up. While work assignments are not guaranteed, LEE anticipates facilitators will lead an average of 1-2 events per quarter. Local travel within your region is required for in-person events. This part-time temporary position will end on April 30, 2027.

Candidates must reside in and possess deep community/educational networks within Northern California or Southern California in order to provide effective facilitation for local LEE members. LEE permits hiring only within specific approved municipalities and explicitly excludes others. Please review the regional location requirements below before applying:
