Associate VMS Software Engineer

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in implementing control system algorithms within real-time embedded software
• Experience in developing firmware for real-time embedded applications
• Effective teamwork skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders of varied backgrounds
• Familiarity with developing embedded real-time software
• Experience with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) methodologies
• Experience with Agile software development practices
• Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• Typically 2 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

• Participate in the creation, documentation, and upkeep of software architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
• Code and maintain software components, ensuring they integrate into a complete functioning system
• Assist in formulating test procedures and documenting results to confirm requirements are satisfied
• Aid in the management of software projects and supplier relations
• Choose, customize, and implement processes and tools; set performance metrics
• Conduct software research and comparative analyses
• Diagnose and resolve software issues
• Operate under general supervision
