About the Position
Senior Business Development Strategy, Competitive Assessment Representative (Level 4 or
5) – Competitive Assessment team within Boeing Defense, Space and Security.
100% onsite; candidate must work at one of the Boeing locations in El Segundo, CA;
Long Beach, CA;
Seal Beach, CA;

Arlington, VA;
Mesa, AZ;
Ridley Park, PA;
Berkeley, MO;

- Competitive assessment analysis, including techniques to lead technical teams to develop competitor strategies and trade‑offs between different design approaches.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to drive insights on technical and business aspects of competitor approaches to specific domestic and international campaigns.
- Execute business capture techniques and processes across all phases of competitive assessment activities, including facilitating discussions with colleagues across BDS functions.
- Collaborate with campaign teams to develop differentiating capture strategies.
- Understand key cost drivers in design and/or offer approaches, and develop price‑to‑win analysis.
- Review domestic and international customer acquisition‑related documents, including RFIs and RFPs.
- Navigate analytic uncertainty while maintaining objectivity and transparency.
- Experience working on a response to a request for proposals (RFP) and contract support.
- Experience collaborating cross‑functionally (engineering, program management, modification team, and/or finance) and across multiple business units (BDS, BGS, BAO, etc.).
- Experience in preparing and presenting executive‑level briefings.
- Knowledge of the domestic/international government acquisition process.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience in a finance‑related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, or Contracts/Procurement Financial Analysis.
- 5+ years of experience working on a response to a request for proposals (RFP) and contract support.
- Experience with competitive acquisitions.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Active Secret Clearance or higher is preferred.
- Level 4 or 5: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Occasional travel for on‑site activities and user research at customer sites.
- 1st Shift.
- Drug‑free workplace.
- Must obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship required.
- U.S. export control compliance required.

- Level 4 – Tier 2: $120,700 – $163,300
- Level 5 – Tier 1: $164,050 – $221,950
- Level 5 – Tier 2: $153,000 – $207,000
