The Lou Fusz Athletic Community Engagement Manager will drive our organization's brand presence, oversee social media and website operations, and foster connections within the community. This role is pivotal in ensuring consistent and impactful communication across all platforms, enhancing audience engagement, and supporting the growth of our programs and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Strategy:
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content across social media, the website, and other communication channels.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive content strategy and content calendar aligned with Lou Fusz Athletic’s mission and goals.
  • Plan and implement marketing strategies to drive engagement and increase customer participation across all sports and programming.
Website and Social Media Management:
  • Maintain, update, and enhance the Lou Fusz Athletic website to ensure accurate and compelling content.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance, producing detailed reports to inform future strategies.
  • Manage and execute Meta Paid Advertising campaigns to promote revenue-generating programs and camps effectively.
Creative Direction and Team Management:
  • Oversee the graphic design team, ensuring alignment with the organization’s branding and overall creative goals.
  • Direct the production of high-quality media assets, including photography, videography, and graphic content.
  • Coordinate media production activities such as scheduling photographers/videographers, annual platform media shoots, and organizing media files.
Partnership and Community Engagement:
  • Manage day-to-day partnership responsibilities, ensuring alignment with Lou Fusz Athletic branding and strategic goals.
  • Foster and activate community engagement opportunities to expand the organization’s presence and impact.
  • Represent Lou Fusz Athletic at games, practices, and events for on-site content creation and relationship building.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts, websites, and content creation for an organization.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, website

    CMS platforms, and social media management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create detailed reports and optimize strategies based on performance data.
  • Experience managing paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Meta.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a creative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in sports marketing or experience working in a similar athletic organization.
  • Knowledge of photography, videography, and media production techniques.
  • Familiarity with community engagement strategies and partnership activations.
Work Environment:

This role requires occasional evening and weekend availability for games, practices, and events. The position involves both office-based and on-field responsibilities, with opportunities for creative expression and community building.
