Registered Dental Hygienist, part-time or full-time

Cass County Dental Clinic in Belton and Harrisonville is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our fun, compassionate, and mission-driven team! Schedule

• Hours:
  
  7:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Days: 2–4 days per week (Belton or Harrisonville)
• Patient mix:
  Primarily ages 13–20, with some younger children and pregnant women
• Flexible scheduling available

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• Positive, patient-focused attitude
• Competitive pay starting at $40/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical histories at each visit
• Chart restorations, oral conditions, and treatment plans using dental software
• Acquire diagnostic radiographs (intraoral & panoramic) as indicated
• Perform oral cancer screenings and soft tissue evaluations
• Conduct periodontal assessments (ages 13+)
• Provide prophylaxis, fluoride (SDF & varnish), sealants (resin & glass ionomer), and nonsurgical periodontal therapy
• Administer local anesthesia and monitor/administer nitrous oxide as directed by the dentist
• Document informed consent, treatment, and refusals in patient records
• Ensure compliance with CDC, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
• Maintain operatory and sterilization area cleanliness
• Recognize emergencies and follow established protocols
• Provide patient and parent/guardian education on home care, treatment plans, and

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• 3 years clinical RDH experience preferred
• Experience with Care Stack and Sota Cloud preferred
• Community health or pediatric dental experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to expanding access to care for the under serve
