As part of the Ferguson-Florissant "New Chapter," you won't just be lecturing from a SMART Board, you will be joining a visionary team dedicated to equity, innovation and excitement for education.

As an Intermediate Teacher, you will lead a classroom within one of our six dedicated intermediate elementary schools (Grades 3-5). You will facilitate a rigorous, student-centered environment that prepares young learners for the transition to middle school through collaborative projects, data-driven instruction, and strong social-emotional support. Working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and the community, you will help create a positive learning experience that empowers every student to succeed.

• Certified Professional:
  Valid Missouri Teaching Certification (Elementary Ed 1-6).
• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree, required;
  Master’s degree, preferred.
• Adaptable Leader:
  You are comfortable and skilled in teaching any grade level within the 3rd-5th span.
• Equity Champion:
  You are committed to ensuring every student, regardless of background, has a seat at the table of success.
• STEAM-Ready:
  You are excited to integrate technology and hands‑on learning into daily instruction.

• Bridge the Gap:
  Guide students as they transition from foundational literacy to complex, inquiry-based learning.

  Partner with your grade-level PLC to analyze student growth and pivot instruction in real-time.

• Work Year: 10-Month Academic Calendar, 187 Contract Days
• Salary:
  Based on the Teacher Salary Schedule, as outlined in district policy and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary is determined based on experience and education.
