Elevating the Performance

We believe that music is a vital language for self‑expression and academic success. We are looking for a dynamic, high‑energy Intermediate Music Teacher to lead our 3rd through 5th‑grade scholars. You aren’t just teaching notes; you are helping students find their voice, develop discipline through practice, and experience the thrill of performing as a unified ensemble.

As part of the FFSD “New Chapter,” you will take the foundation built in early childhood and elevate it—turning curiosity into technical skill and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. If you are ready to inspire our intermediate scholars to reach for the high notes, your next chapter starts here.

Role Summary

As the Intermediate Music Teacher, you are responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive music curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. You will guide students from general music to more technical applications, including music literacy, intermediate vocal techniques, and introductory instrumental instruction. You will lead school performances that showcase student growth and foster a vibrant arts culture within the building.
