Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Experienced or Senior Structural Analysis Engineer for advanced aircraft development programs located in Berkeley, MO
. BDS proprietary programs develop complex, highly integrated, advanced systems that enable future growth for Boeing and our Department of Defense (DoD) customers. Position Responsibilities
  • Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design.
  • Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product life‑cycle.
  • Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment.
  • Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze and report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate that requirements are satisfied for customers and regulatory agencies.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Materials Sciences).
  • (Level
    3) 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • (Level
    4) 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A clearance active in the past 24 months is considered active.
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance required post‑start.
  • Special Access Program (SAP) required post‑start.
  • Experience with Finite Element Modeling (FEM) tools (NASTRAN, PATRAN).
  • Experience in aerospace stress analysis and/or structural analysis.

Education & Relocation

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Security Clearance

Requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). The position also requires the ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
