Position Responsibilities:
• Installing and maintaining Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations and rack equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum down time
• Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
• Designs, fabricates, builds and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies
• Coordinates test requirements, determines test methods and capabilities
• Conducts system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and tear-down
• Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems
• Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs
• Coaches and trains others
• Works under general direction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security Clearance:
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2+ year experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
• Minimum of 2+ year working in Engineering Lab Environment or comparable Military experience.
• Minimum of 2+ year experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3+ year experience working with Flight Simulation equipment
• Minimum of 3+ year experience maintaining computer hardware
• Experience with Mil-Spec connector termination
• Experience with Mil-Spec Fiber Optic termination and splicing
• An Active US Secret Clearance Typical Education/
Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.). Drug Free Workplace:
