BBI-Design and Analysis Engineer -Electronic Sys Design & Analy

Overview

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer for a prominent client. This position is located in Berkeley, MO.

Job Description:

Pay: $95-$105.19/hr

Shift: 100% Onsite

Duration: 12-months to start – may extend or convert based on performance, budget and project needs.

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Leads work with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements on complex projects
• Leads analysis and translation of complex requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
• Leads testing and validation work on complex system designs to assure that operational and functional requirements are met
• Manages performance of critical suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
• Assigns responsibility for activities to team members and ensures technical correctness and consistency of products and services
• Leads research into technology advances for potential application to company business needs

• Bachelor’s degree (open in terms of discipline).
• 9+ years of electrical systems engineering.
• 9+ years of avionics hardware and software development, design, production and project management.
• 9+ years of process development.
• 9+ years of hardware and LRU development, testing and qualification.

• Experience with cockpit displays (HUD, UFCD, LAD and mission systems).
• Aerospace/aviation and/or defense experience.
• Supply chain and/or supplier management.
• Proposal development experience.
