Position Overview
Lead Project Engineer on the F-15 International Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) team. The role serves as a critical link between the Program Manager and the SEIT team, acting as a deputy program manager to ensure seamless project execution. Responsibilities include managing schedules, budgets, resources, and driving deliverables to successful completion.
Position Responsibilities- Act as the primary liaison between the Program Manager and the SEIT team, translating program goals into actionable project plans.
- Develop, maintain, and track project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure timely delivery of program milestones.
- Coordinate cross‑functional activities within the SEIT team and with external partners to facilitate integration and testing efforts.
- Identify, maintain, and report day‑to‑day oversight of cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
- Monitor project risks and issues, proactively identifying mitigation strategies and escalating as necessary.
- Prepare and present regular status reports, briefings, and documentation to program leadership and stakeholders.
- Support configuration management, change control processes, and compliance with program requirements.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across technical and management teams to align project objectives.
- Assist in the preparation and review of program documentation, including plans, proposals, and technical reports.
- Maintain working‑level customer relationships.
100% onsite in Berkeley, MO. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time, domestically and/or internationally.
Security ClearanceRequires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent non‑U.S. qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Experience supporting program management functions and acting as a deputy or lead project engineer.
- Proven experience in project or program engineering roles within aerospace, defense, or related industries.
- Familiarity with aerospace systems development lifecycle and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, integration, and test processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.

Pay RangeSummary pay range: $136,850 - $185,150.
