Position OverviewAssembly Manufacturing Engineers for 2nd shift at the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works team, located in Berkeley, MO. The role focuses on airplane manufacturing, production readiness, and delivery center flyaway operations. Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes that meet stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, plans, and tooling methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane assembly.
- Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Support delivery center operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
- Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.
- Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout all manufacturing processes.

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent qualifications directly related to the work.
- 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.
- 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.
- Experience supporting stabilization and improvement efforts in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers.
- Experience with 3D model based instruction.

Summary pay range:
Level 2: $85,000 - $115,000
Level 3: $103,700 - $140,300
