* Serves as Technical Lead Engineer for the hardware team
* Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
* Leads investigations of technical issues and follows through with RCCAs
* Provides guidance and leadership on testing and validation work to assure that operational and functional requirements are met
* Manages performance of critical suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance with tiered requirements
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
* Assigns responsibility for activities to team members and ensures technical correctness and consistency of products and services
* Leads research into technology advances for potential application to various derivatives of T-7A
* Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers
** This position is expected to be 100% on-site.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options****.
*** Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
* 14+ years of experience with Avionics Hardware design, production and project management
* 14+ years of experience in process development and qualification, physical and functional integration and installation design and resolving supplier technical issues
** Level 5: 14+
** years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree OR
** 12****+
** years of work-related experience with a master’s degree
* 14+ years of systems engineering experience involving: system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis and evaluation, verification
* Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active
* Experience with Advanced Cockpit Displays:
Heads Up Display (HUD), Up Front Control Display (UFCD), Large Area Displays (LAD), and mission systems avionics equipment
* Experience with commercial and military avionics systems
* Experience working with suppliers and supply chain management
* Proposal development experience
