Senior Quality Auditor

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Quality Auditor to join the Quality Core Team located in St. Louis, MO, in a virtual capacity. This position requires the ability to travel frequently to Boeing sites, as needed. It is a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to relocate or live in the listed locations; candidates must live within driving distance of a domestic airport.

• Reviews of complex proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring effective implementation in the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Represents the company on industry working groups to develop industry standards for quality.
• Advises senior leadership on development of business strategies that influence directives and policies.
• Advises multi-function groups on development of processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory, statutory and AS9100 requirements are deployed.
• Consults in high level reviews of corrective actions at the site, enterprise and customer level to identify trends or systemic issues and advises on development and implementation of corrective actions.
• Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
• Conducts business unit risk analysis to determine audit focus areas.
• Develops and manages business unit audit plans and schedules.
• Trains and advises senior management on preparation for third party audits.
• Performs benchmarking of enterprise best practices.
• Works under consultative direction.

• Experience in leading or managing projects and teams.
• 10+ years of experience working with quality management systems.
• 10+ years of experience conducting or leading quality management system audits.
• Authenticated Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) with authentication in AS9100 and AS9110.

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers and business partners.
• 5+ years of technical experience in an aerospace environment.

Position may require travel up to 50% of the time.

Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A ‘U.S. Person’ as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
