MP&P Engineer (Chemical Technology) – Associate or Mid‑level – Boeing Defense, Space & Security, located at the Berkeley, MO facility.
Responsibilities- Author and revise material or process specifications
- Define environmental protection methods and requirements
- Investigate corrosion reports and recommend design changes to reduce corrosion impacts
- Address corrosion‑related inquiries regarding materials, processes, and equipment
- Support non‑conformances, fleet impact assessments, and notice of escapes
- Review and approve suppliers for chemical processing methods, standards, and specifications
- Analyze failures, conduct failure analysis, and lead improvement initiatives for finishing systems
- Interface with government, external, and internal customers
- Review and approve documents and drawings for finishing requirements
- Perform production acceptance and/or qualification of materials
- Provide production and development support for Boeing St. Louis aircraft programs
- Assist in evaluating emerging technologies for potential application
- Willing to travel up to 10%; 100% onsite
- Must obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required); interim pre‑start and final post‑start clearances required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent non‑US qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 3+ years of related engineering experience
- 1+ years of experience in aerospace or automotive paint application, paints & coatings, and/or inorganic chemical processes
- 5+ years of related engineering experience
- Experience with aerospace coatings and/or finishing systems
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Pay ranges:
Level 2: $91,800 – $124,200
Level 3: $112,200 – $151,800。

Relocation is offered based on candidate eligibility.
Security ClearancePosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, and interim pre‑start and final post‑start clearances are mandatory.
Export ControlPosition must satisfy U.S. export control compliance requirements. A U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, etc.) is required.
