F‑15 Senior Mission Systems Integration Architect

Location:

Berkeley, MO – 100% onsite (one of the listed options).

As a member of the F‑15 Mission Systems Integration Team, you will lead the development and execution of avionics architecture solutions for emerging and existing F‑15 International and USAF programs. Your responsibilities include creating architectures that meet all system requirements, guiding the engineering team through implementation and maintenance, and leading integration projects that incorporate new technologies and modern tools.

• Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of avionics architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for the F‑15 platform.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on F‑15 system‑level architecture and related processes.
• Give technical leadership for integration projects involving new technology implementation and demonstrations.
• Develop, select, tailor, and deploy tools and processes for the integration team, including Open Mission Systems (OMS) and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
• Support the System Safety and Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team in safety‑critical function identification, traceability, and reviews.
• Coordinate ongoing hardware‑software integration efforts in a fast‑paced Agile environment with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Work with USAF customers and aircrew to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for navigation systems.
• Analyze customer requests, assess contractual and technical impacts, and translate them into actionable system requirements.
• Develop architecture roadmaps and provide Technical Lead Engineer (TLE) guidance and support to the integration team.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical) or related disciplines (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).
• Minimum of 9 years of work‑related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 7 years with a Master’s degree, or 4 years with a PhD.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (citizen required).

• 14+ years of work‑related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 12+ years with a Master’s degree, or 9+ years with a PhD.
• Experience developing Open Mission Systems (OMS) and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Familiarity with the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI) message standard and Common Abstraction Layer (CAL).

Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required and clearance must have been active within the past 24 months). A pre‑start clearance is also required.
